How to run over-the-air updates from the app once updated to 3.6

  1. Click on the user icon in the upper left hand corner
  2. Check for updates
  3. Follow the prompts to download
  4. Restart the app
  5. Verify that you are on version 3.6.0 build 36185 or higher

SSO Login

Log in to measureQuick using your Google, Apple, Microsoft, or Facebook account, or with your phone number. No separate password required. See SSO Login Methods for setup details.

Refrigerant Defaults

The app now remembers your last-used refrigerant type, so you do not need to re-select it each time you start a new test.

Persistent Settings & Toolbox

Your app settings and Toolbox configuration now persist across sessions. Your preferences follow you between devices when logged into the same account.

Dark & Light Themes

Choose between dark and light display modes to suit your environment and lighting conditions. The theme applies across the entire app interface.

Rapid Fire Camera

Take multiple photos in quick succession without stopping at the review screen between each capture. Speeds up on-site documentation when you need several shots in a row.

Streamlined Profile Page

The equipment profile page has been reorganized for faster data entry.

Profile Confirmation

A new confirmation step when saving an equipment profile helps prevent accidental changes to system configuration.

Bug Fix: Seitron Manifold on Android

Resolved an issue where Android users could not scan for the Seitron digital manifold during Bluetooth discovery.

A real-time visual diagram of the HVAC system you are testing. System View displays live measurements directly on an interactive system schematic showing pressures, temperatures, superheat, subcooling, and airflow readings in context as they update. Available in all cooling and heating workflows.

mQ+ Interface

A streamlined, modern interface with AI-powered mQ Assist guidance, designed for technicians who need to get the job done quickly in the field. Premier Services subscribers can choose between mQ Classic (the full-featured legacy interface) and mQ+ at any time. This is a company-wide setting managed by the account administrator.

  • mQ Classic: Full-featured, legacy interface with detailed data entry, all tabs, and comprehensive reporting tools. Best for comprehensive testing, detailed documentation, and office work.
  • mQ+: Streamlined, modern interface with AI-powered assistance. Best for field technicians, quick diagnostics, and hands-free operation.

Companywide Checklists

Company administrators can build custom checklists that apply to specific workflow types (Cooling Vitals, Cooling Service, Gas Furnace, Heat Pump Heating, Visual Documentation, and more). Checklists are configured in the app and in mQ Cloud via Company Wide Settings.

  • Checklist items support checkboxes, photos, and video clips up to 30 seconds
  • Items can be marked as required, include notes fields, and have customizable themes
  • Set which workflow position items appear in: beginning, before measurements, after measurements, or end
  • Items can be expanded or collapsed by default

Quick Profiles

Save common equipment configurations as reusable templates. When you arrive at a job with familiar equipment, load a Quick Profile to pre-fill the system profile instead of entering it from scratch.

Photo & Video Documentation Mode

A dedicated documentation-only workflow for capturing job site photos and videos without running a full diagnostic test. Videos can be up to 30 seconds long and include annotations. Useful for pre-inspection documentation, warranty claims, and maintenance records.

Tool Tracker

See where your Bluetooth tools were last detected. Tool Tracker shows each tool's last-known location on a map, helping you track down misplaced instruments across job sites. Access Tool Tracker from the Toolbox screen.
