In measureQuick, there is a way to control the settings of all of the registered users in your company; we call them "Company-Wide Settings". If your settings menu is greyed out and you cannot change them, chances are you or someone in your company with admin privileges has locked the settings to make them all the same for all company users usually for consistency.
Setting company wide settings will freeze settings for everyone so users are unable to make changes their own customization. Allowing Admins to freeze settings keeps company branding and standards uniformed across employees.
The easiest way to access Company-Wide Settings (if you have admin privileges) is to log into your mQ cloud account on a desktop or laptop and access them on the left side of the screen under the "Company" tab as pictured.
Here's what you can change
Report Settings
This is where you can customize what shows up on customer facing reports.
Theme
The theme can be set to light or dark. If your company prints the pdf reports, we suggest utilizing the light theme to prevent large areas of black ink.
Include Profile Picture
Do you want your tech's photo to show up on the report? If so, check off to include it an make sure there's a photo uploaded to their profile. Click "Users" from the left hand menu and select the technician. Click "Edit" and upload a head shot of the technician.
Include Company Logo
Just like the technician's photo, you can include your company's logo on reports. The logo is pulled from the photo that is uploaded to the Company information. Click on "Company" in the left hand menu, "Edit" and upload the company logo.
Include Measurement Range Indicators
Range indicators are up, down and check mark icons that show up on the report indicating if a measurement is trending up, down, or in range.

here.
Units of Measure
This category simply lets you choose what units of measure the company prefers to use. By default, the app will use United States customary units, but if you are in the Canadian districts or across the pond, you can change to European units of measures. All are welcome!
Display Settings
These are settings that a user would see in the application itself.
Show Touch Indicators
When this setting is turned on, a light blue circle will display on the screen indicating where a user is currently touching the screen. This option is great for instructors or anyone else who likes to record their screen in order to show others where they are navigating in the app.
Keep Screen Awake
The application will not automatically "sleep" when left alone for a certain amount of time. This is recommended for all. However, if the DEVICE has an automatic "sleep" function set, it will override the application setting.
Split Screen View and Guided Workflow Split Screen
FOR TABLETS ONLY- Turn the device sideways and you see a split screen. Your gauge screen on one side and the workflow steps on the other.
The application display a "hot key" in the bottom right hand corner. Select it and you have options of shortcuts to choose from. This category allows you to select with shortcuts show up.
Notification Settings
This setting should be turned OFF unless a user is beta testing the application. When turned on, error messages will display when the app detects a bug.
Disable Auto-mapping
When tools are first connected to the app, we will auto map them to a function, instead of the user having to manually set up the probes and map them.
Disable Startup Connect
By default, when the app detects previously connected probes are turned on, it will automatically connect to them.
Photo Settings
Turn off Photos
Want to disable photo taking the application? This is where you can do that.
Better Quality Images
Pictures appear grainy on the pdf? You can refine picture quality here. But be aware, better picture quality also affects time it takes to upload/download reports and also requires more memory space.
Save Images to Photo Album
This will automatically save any photos taken in the app to the users device itself.
Auto-sync Photos to Cloud
This is recommended to be "ON" for everyone. Photos will automatically upload to our cloud portal and ServiceTitan/Housecall Pro once a photo is taken. *Requires internet connection
Advanced Settings
Equipment Search Radius
Increase the radius in which mQ searches for saved projects. This is perfect if users utilize the map view option in the application.
Trending Time Limit
Adjusts the duration a user can view when utilizing the Trending feature. Trending can be found under the Gauge view in the application.
Always Use Sea Level
Recommended this setting to be turned "OFF". measureQuick utilizes elevation to determine atmospheric pressure. This option should only be turned on for educational purposes and comparisons.
Quick Charge Mode
Recommended this setting to be turned "OFF" for general service work. We use this to determine how much refrigerant should be added to system upon INSTALLATION use only.
Advanced Targets
Used to enable two additional fields in the system profile: desired airflow and oversized evaporator. Setting desired airflow based on region is helpful for target zones. Marking evaporators as oversized will also help with determining diagnostics. Although we recommend this setting to be "ON", it may lead to confusion if your technicians are unfamiliar with the application.
Workflow Add-ons
SmartAC is a leave behind hardware/software that will alert you when an issue is found. This is an alternative to maintenance visits and will alleviate unnecessary truck rolls. If you are a SmartAC customer, turn this workflow Add on to "ON" and utilize the app-to-app integration. Learn more about SmartAC
