Premier vs Basic: What You Get

measureQuick has two main subscription tiers. The Basic tier is free. Premier is $49 per user per month.

Basic (Free)

Every measureQuick account starts with Basic. It includes:

  • Bluetooth smart tool connectivity (use multiple brands simultaneously)
  • Gauge and grid measurement views with blue/green/red indicators
  • Target zone display with design targets and allowable ranges
  • Quick test capabilities (all types, with free PDF reports)
  • Classic report export (free PDF)
  • Equipment performance metrics
  • Just-in-time education
  • mQ Assist (basic AI diagnostic guidance)

Basic gives you enough to connect tools and take measurements. It does not include cloud storage, branded reports, or advanced diagnostics.

For companies pursuing ACCA Quality Installation compliance, a separate QI add-on is available. Pricing depends on your ACCA membership status:

Eligibility Monthly Price
ACCA member AND QA Contractor $100/month
ACCA member OR QA Contractor $150/month
Non-member $200/month

This add-on includes:

  • Unlimited ACCA QI certificates (VEO, VSP, Energy Star)
  • Verified Equipment Operation (VEO) certificates for startup verification
  • Verified System Performance (VSP) certificates for full system commissioning
  • Energy Star verified installation certificates
  • Documentation that meets ACCA QI compliance standards

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Open Subscription Settings

From the measureQuick app, tap the Settings icon (gear) in the bottom navigation. Scroll to Subscription or Premier Services.

If you are logged in as a Manager or Owner, you will see the subscription management options. Technician-role accounts cannot activate or modify subscriptions.

Step 2: Review the Plan Comparison

The subscription screen shows a side-by-side comparison of Basic and Premier features. Review the feature list to confirm Premier includes what your team needs.

Tip: If you only need measurement display and Bluetooth connectivity, Basic may be sufficient. Premier is required for branded PDF reports, cloud sync, CRM integrations, AI System Profiler, and Vitals scoring. The monthly subscription has no long-term commitment; you can cancel at any time.

Step 3: Select the Number of User Seats

Premier uses per-user licensing. Each technician, manager, or owner who needs Premier features requires their own seat. Select the number of seats to match your team size.

The monthly cost is $49 multiplied by the number of seats. Examples:

Team Size Monthly Cost
1 user $49
3 users $147
5 users $245
10 users $490
25 users $1,225

You can add or remove seats at any time. Changes take effect on the next billing cycle.

Step 4: Enter Payment Information

Enter a valid credit card. measureQuick bills monthly. You will see a confirmation of the amount before completing the transaction.

After activation, your team members with assigned seats will see Premier features the next time they open the app and sync.

Step 6: Assign Premier Seats to Team Members

Go to Settings > User Management (see User Management) to assign Premier seats to specific team members. Each person who needs cloud sync, branded reports, or AI features requires an assigned seat.

Tips & Common Issues

How does per-user licensing work?

Each Premier seat is assigned to one person. If you have 8 technicians who need Premier features, you need 8 seats. Managers and owners who use the app also need seats. Users without assigned seats remain on the Basic tier.

At $49/month per user, the cost breaks even with a single prevented callback (average callback costs $500+). Contractors interviewed report that the subscription cost is easily absorbed by adding $5 to their diagnostic fee.

Can I mix Basic and Premier users in the same company?

Yes. You can assign Premier seats to specific team members and leave others on Basic. This is common when rolling out Premier gradually, starting with a pilot group before expanding to the full team.

What happens if I cancel?

If you cancel Premier, your account reverts to Basic features at the end of the current billing period. Your project data and measurement history are retained, but you lose access to cloud sync, branded reports, AI profiling, and CRM integrations until you resubscribe.

How do I add the ACCA QI tier?

ACCA QI is a separate add-on. After activating Premier, visit Settings > Subscription to add QI capabilities. Pricing ranges from $100/month (ACCA member + QA Contractor) to $200/month (non-member). See ACCA QI Setup for the full configuration walkthrough.

My payment failed. What do I do?

Check that your card is current and has sufficient funds. Go to Settings > Subscription > Payment to update your card. If the issue persists, contact support at support@measurequick.com.

Is there a free trial?

Check the current pricing page at measurequick.com/pricing for any active trial offers. Trial availability may vary.

I activated Premier but my technician does not see the new features.

Confirm the technician has an assigned Premier seat in User Management. The technician also needs to close and reopen the app, or force a sync, to pick up the subscription change.

How contractors absorb the subscription cost

"If you don't double your ticket averages on measureQuick, I don't know what you're doing." - Jacob Oppelt, Owner, Best Neighbor Home Services

Jacob reports his service ticket average went from $550 toward a $1,250 target after adopting measureQuick. At $49/month per user, many contractors absorb the cost by adding $5 to their diagnostic fee. The value comes from higher close rates on repair recommendations, fewer callbacks, and professional reports that differentiate their service.
