ACCA Quality Installation is a certification program from the Air Conditioning Contractors of America. It verifies that HVAC installations meet the standards in ACCA Manuals J (load calculation), S (equipment selection), and D (duct design). measureQuick is the only app for ACCA Quality Installation. It tracks whether an installation meets QI criteria, flags compliance gaps, and generates the documentation needed for certification. QI requires a Vitals Score of 95% or higher and passing reviews on all measured and visual subsystems.
QI requires a separate add-on beyond Premier. Pricing depends on your ACCA membership and QA Contractor status:
| Eligibility | Monthly Price |
|---|---|
| ACCA member AND QA Contractor | $100/month |
| ACCA member OR QA Contractor | $150/month |
| Non-member | $200/month |
ACCA QI is accessible to all contractors; ACCA membership is not required, but it reduces the monthly cost.

The QI add-on is not available on Basic accounts. Confirm Premier is active before proceeding.
[Visual Reference] The ACCA QI settings panel shows fields for ACCA Member ID and Company Name, with a Save button. Enter your credentials exactly as registered with ACCA.
Certificates reference this membership information. The company name here is separate from your general measureQuick company profile.
measureQuick maps its measurements to ACCA QI verification criteria.
[Visual Reference] The QI Requirements section lists each verification checkpoint (electrical, air distribution, refrigerant charge, capacity, etc.) with ON/OFF toggles. Leave all enabled unless you have a specific reason to exclude one.

Standard installation workflows gain QI tracking once the tier is active.
The QI Status checklist shows each requirement color-coded:
Address red and gray items before generating certificates.
[Visual Reference] The QI Documentation section provides upload areas for Manual J load calculation, Manual S equipment selection documentation, and supporting notes or photos.
Once all requirements show green and documentation is attached:

Certificates are stored in the project record and accessible from the cloud dashboard.

The company name in ACCA QI settings must match your ACCA membership exactly. This field is separate from your general company profile name. Update it under Settings > Company Settings > ACCA QI.
Gray means missing data, not failed measurements. Common causes: equipment nameplate fields left blank, refrigerant type not selected, or Manual J/S documentation not attached.
No. ACCA QI applies to new installations and major system replacements. Use an Installation workflow type to access QI tracking.
Enter your ACCA Member ID in Step 2. Your pricing tier is determined by your ACCA membership and QA Contractor status: $100/month for ACCA members who are also QA Contractors, $150/month for ACCA members or QA Contractors, and $200/month for non-members. If the correct pricing does not appear on your next billing cycle, contact support with your Member ID.
Either correct the installation and retest, or document the deviation with a note. Certificates generated with unresolved failures reflect incomplete QI compliance.
Yes. QI is a company-level feature. Any team member running an installation workflow can access QI tracking, as long as the company has the QI add-on active.
Confirm Premier is active and you are logged in as a Manager or Owner. The QI add-on is not visible on Basic accounts or to Technician-role users.
The VEO certificate has rules to ensure data integrity. Bluetooth-connected tools are required for suction line temp, liquid line temp, high pressure, low pressure, supply air, return air, outdoor air, return static pressure, supply static pressure, and electrical. Manual entry is not permitted for these fields on VEO workflows. This means you need compatible smart tools to generate certificates.
The system must achieve a grade of 95% or higher. All measurement-based subsystems (electrical, air distribution, air filtration, refrigerant charge, cooling capacity, cooling electrical efficiency) must automatically pass. Subjective subsystems (condensate drain, outdoor equipment, indoor equipment) require manual confirmation from the technician.
