Account Deletion & Data Transfer
Requesting Account Deletion
To delete your measureQuick account, email support@measurequick.com with:
- The email address on your account
- Your name
- Confirmation that you want the account deleted
Support will process the deletion and confirm by email. There is no self-service account deletion in the app.
Before You Delete: What to Save
Account deletion is permanent. Before requesting it:
- Export your reports. Open each project you want to keep and generate a PDF report. Save the PDFs to your phone or email them to yourself. After deletion, you will not be able to access project data.
- Download your photos. If you have photos in projects, save them to your phone before deletion.
- Cancel your subscription first. Go to Settings > Subscription > Cancel Subscription to avoid further charges (see Subscription & Billing FAQ for details). Then request account deletion.
What Gets Deleted
- Your user profile and login credentials
- All project data, test records, and measurement history
- All photos stored in the cloud
- Your company membership (if you are the only member, the company account is also removed)
What Happens If You Are a Company Owner
If you are the Owner of a company account with other members:
- Transfer ownership to another Manager before requesting deletion. Go to Settings > User Management, select the new Owner, and assign the Owner role. For details on user roles, see How to Create User Accounts.
- If you delete your account without transferring ownership, contact support to discuss how to handle the company account.
Transferring Data to Another User
measureQuick does not have a built-in data transfer feature between accounts. If you need to move project history to a different user:
- Generate PDF reports from each project and share them with the new user.
- Contact support@measurequick.com to discuss options if you need to transfer a large volume of data.
Switching to a New Email Address
If you want to change your login email instead of deleting your account, see Login & Account Recovery. Support can update your email without deleting your data. If you just need a new password, see How to Reset/Change Your Password.
