Why is mQ calculating a capacity or tons of cooling that is higher than the system is rated?
This typically happens when the user inputs an airflow that is much higher than the actual air flow of the system. Remove the user input airflow and re-measure or use the mQ estimated airflow calculation.
Another possible cause could be the tonnage on the Profile page is incorrect.
To understand how measured airflow is derived, see How is the Estimated Airflow Calculated. If your system has an oversized evaporator, see Working with a High Efficiency / Oversized Evaporator.
