Combustion Analyzer Compatibility & Manual Entry

Combustion Analyzer Compatibility & Manual Entry

Supported Combustion Analyzers

Sauermann Si-CA Series (Recommended)

Sauermann combustion analyzers connect directly to measureQuick via Bluetooth Low Energy. Live data streams include:

  • CO (carbon monoxide)
  • CO2 (carbon dioxide)
  • O2 (oxygen)
  • Stack temperature
  • Draft pressure
  • Combustion efficiency

Sauermann instruments meet the ANSI/BPI-1200 accuracy requirements for CO measurement (+/-10 ppm or better).

UEi Personal CO Meter

The UEi personal CO meter connects via BLE for ambient carbon monoxide monitoring. This is a safety device, not a full combustion analyzer.

Not Supported

Fieldpiece Combustion Analyzers

Fieldpiece combustion analyzers are not supported and will not be added to measureQuick. The reason: Fieldpiece ambient CO accuracy is +/-20 ppm, which does not meet the ANSI/BPI-1200 standard requirement of +/-10 ppm. measureQuick requires instruments that meet this accuracy standard for combustion diagnostics.

Bacharach Fyrite Insight / InTech

Previously supported, now sunset. BLE connectivity is no longer maintained in current app versions.

Accutools BluFlame

Previously supported, now sunset.

Other Analyzers

Analyzers from Testo, Flue, Wohler, and other manufacturers are not currently supported for direct Bluetooth connection.

Manual Entry for Unsupported Analyzers

If your combustion analyzer is not supported for Bluetooth connection, you can enter measurements manually:

  1. Run your combustion test with your analyzer as usual.
  2. In measureQuick, open the combustion test screen.
  3. Tap each measurement field and enter the value from your analyzer display.
  4. The app processes manually entered data the same way it processes Bluetooth data: pass/fail evaluation, report generation, and cloud storage all work normally.

Low-Fire vs High-Fire Testing

measureQuick supports both low-fire and high-fire combustion test modes. Select the appropriate mode when setting up your combustion test. The app adjusts target values based on the selected firing rate.
